During periods of intense change, it might make sense to bring me on-board as a fractional memberof your team.
This is typically a contract role with me working 5 - 15 hours a week alongside your other leadership team members. In this role I am:
directing strategy development efforts within your organization,
helping your other leaders with their strategy development and implementation activities,
researching and documenting the internal and external environment,
participating in leadership team meetings, and
documenting strategic decisions and strategic context.
Most of this work will be performed virtually, but I likely will spend some time in your offices engaging in-person with your team.
What Makes Me an Effective Strategy Executive?
There are four key reasons it might make sense to bring me on-board as a short-term fractional strategy executive:
Experience: I have served as a strategy executive for a Fortune 100 and a Fortune 500 company. I have worked alongside brilliant senior executives in finance, sales, marketing, operations, and technology. I know how to be a team player and I know how to contribute as a peer in high performing teams.
Affordability: By bringing me on-board as a fractional executive, you get a top-tier strategy leader for a fraction of the cost. Since our shared expectation is that I'm only on-board through a disruptive season (typically 3 - 6 months), you also aren't making a long term commitment to a role that is most needed in the short term.
Deeper Engagement: My participation in your leadership team enables me to more deeply understand all aspects of your organization, its opportunities, and its challenges. My interactions with your team will become more natural and trusted, enabling closer collaboration and greater impact.
Stronger Alignment: As I work within your team, my insights will become clearer, my recommendations more on-point, and my relationship with your team stronger. My contributions will be more trustworthy and more trusted, enabling you and I to work together to drive stronger alignment across the organization to the strategic decisions we are championing.
